EVENT TICKET TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last Updated: August 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to tickets purchased for events organised, promoted or conducted by Dubbo Action Sports ("Dubbo Action Sports", "we", "us" or "our"), including tickets purchased through the 123 Tix ticketing platform.
By purchasing a ticket, registering for an event, or attending an event conducted by Dubbo Action Sports, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Where a ticket is purchased on behalf of another person, the purchaser is responsible for making that person aware of these Terms & Conditions.
1. Ticket Purchase and Entry
A valid ticket or other approved evidence of admission is required to enter a ticketed Dubbo Action Sports event.
Tickets must be presented in the manner specified for the relevant event and may be required to be scanned or otherwise validated before entry.
Dubbo Action Sports reserves the right to refuse entry where a ticket is invalid, has been cancelled or refunded, has already been used, has been obtained fraudulently, or does not otherwise satisfy the conditions applicable to the event.
Tickets may be subject to additional event-specific conditions displayed on the relevant event or ticketing page. Where event-specific conditions apply, they form part of these Terms & Conditions.
2. Ticket Prices and Fees
Ticket prices are displayed at the time of purchase.
Any applicable booking, transaction, processing or other fees will be displayed during the ticket purchasing process before payment is completed.
The purchaser is responsible for checking the event, date, ticket type, quantity and other booking information before completing the transaction.
3. Refund Policy
All ticket sales are final. Dubbo Action Sports does not provide refunds or exchanges for change of mind or circumstances personal to the ticket holder, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law.
This includes, but is not limited to, where a ticket holder:
-
changes their mind;
-
is unable or chooses not to attend;
-
arrives late or after entry has closed;
-
has a change in personal circumstances;
-
has travel or transport difficulties;
-
purchases an incorrect ticket type or quantity; or
-
is removed from or refused entry to an event because they have failed to comply with these Terms & Conditions, event rules, venue requirements or reasonable directions from event officials.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law, or any other applicable law.
Where the Australian Consumer Law provides a ticket holder with a right to a refund or other remedy, Dubbo Action Sports will provide the remedy required by law.
4. Event Cancellation, Postponement or Changes
Dubbo Action Sports may cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate or make reasonable changes to an event where circumstances require.
This may include changes resulting from weather, venue conditions, safety considerations, operational requirements, participant availability, government directions or other circumstances affecting the safe or practical conduct of the event.
PLEASE NOTE: There are session minimum numbers to proceed based on package type and location. Please see ticket desctiption for required minimum criteria.
Where an event is cancelled, postponed, rescheduled or materially changed, Dubbo Action Sports will determine and communicate the arrangements applicable to ticket holders, subject always to rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets may remain valid for the new date where permitted by law.
Nothing in this clause limits any rights a ticket holder may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Weather and Outdoor Events
Some Dubbo Action Sports events may be conducted outdoors and may be affected by weather and environmental conditions.
Unless an event is cancelled, postponed or otherwise changed by Dubbo Action Sports, an event will generally proceed despite rain, heat, cold, wind or other weather conditions where Dubbo Action Sports considers it safe and practical to do so.
Ticket holders should prepare appropriately for expected weather and venue conditions.
A ticket holder's decision not to attend because of weather conditions does not, by itself, entitle the ticket holder to a refund, except where required by law.
6. Conditions of Entry and Behaviour
All attendees must comply with:
-
these Terms & Conditions;
-
any event-specific rules or conditions;
-
venue rules;
-
safety instructions;

-
reasonable directions given by Dubbo Action Sports staff, officials, security personnel, venue representatives or authorised event personnel.
Dubbo Action Sports may refuse entry to, or remove from an event, any person who:
-
behaves in a dangerous, threatening, abusive, offensive or disorderly manner;

-

Except where required by law, no refund will be provided where entry is refused or an attendee is removed for these reasons.
7. General Event Risks
Attendance at sporting, recreational and action-sports events can involve inherent and obvious risks.
Depending on the event, these risks may include moving participants, sporting equipment, vehicles, paintballs or other projectiles, uneven or slippery surfaces, weather conditions, temporary structures, crowd movement, noise and other hazards ordinarily associated with sporting and outdoor events.
Attendees must:
-
remain within designated spectator and public areas;
-
comply with barriers, fencing and signage;
-
not enter playing, competition, operational or restricted areas without authorisation;
-
follow all reasonable safety directions; and
-
take reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of children or other persons under their supervision.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dubbo Action Sports is not responsible for loss, injury or damage arising from risks inherent in attending an event or from an attendee's failure to comply with event rules or reasonable safety directions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
8. Children and Minors
Children and persons under 18 years of age may attend Dubbo Action Sports events unless otherwise specified for a particular event.
A parent, guardian or responsible adult is responsible for determining whether an event is appropriate for a child in their care and for providing appropriate supervision while at the event.
Children must comply with all event rules and safety requirements.
Players must be aged 12 years or older to participate in paintball activities in New South Wales. Persons under 12 years of age are not permitted to participate in paintball activities, regardless of parent or guardian consent.
Players under 18 years of age may also be subject to additional requirements, including parent or guardian consent, identification requirements, safety briefings and other conditions required by Dubbo Action Sports or applicable NSW laws and regulations.
Where an event or activity has additional age restrictions, participation requirements or supervision requirements, these will be communicated separately and must be complied with.
9. Photography, Video and Event Imagery
Photography, video recording and other forms of media capture may occur at Dubbo Action Sports events.
Images and recordings may include event participants, competitors, officials, spectators and general event activities.
Dubbo Action Sports may use photographs, video footage and other event imagery captured by or on behalf of Dubbo Action Sports for legitimate event-related promotional and communication purposes, including:
-
Dubbo Action Sports websites;
-
Dubbo Action Sports social media channels;
-
advertising and promotional materials;
-
event recaps and highlights;
-
newsletters and electronic communications;
-
future event promotion; and
-
media and publicity relating to Dubbo Action Sports and its events.
Where an individual is specifically featured or readily identifiable, Dubbo Action Sports will handle the image or recording in accordance with applicable privacy laws and any consent requirements that apply.
Special care will be taken in relation to photographs or recordings that specifically feature children or minors. Where appropriate or required, consent will be sought from a parent or guardian before an identifiable image of a child is used for promotional or marketing purposes.
Attendees who do not wish to be individually photographed or recorded for promotional purposes should notify Dubbo Action Sports or event staff. Where reasonably practicable, Dubbo Action Sports will endeavour to accommodate such requests.
General crowd, venue and event imagery where individuals are incidental to the overall scene may still be captured and used, subject to applicable law.
10. Personal Photography and Recording
Unless otherwise stated for a particular event, attendees may take photographs and short video recordings for personal and non-commercial purposes provided this does not interfere with the event, participants, officials or other attendees.
Dubbo Action Sports may restrict photography or recording in particular areas or circumstances for safety, privacy, commercial or operational reasons.
Professional or commercial photography, filming, live streaming or broadcasting requires prior approval from Dubbo Action Sports.
11. Personal Property
Attendees are responsible for their own personal property while attending an event.
To the extent permitted by law, Dubbo Action Sports is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property unless the loss or damage results from conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Prohibited Items
Dubbo Action Sports or the relevant venue may prohibit items considered unsafe, inappropriate or disruptive.
Prohibited items may include weapons, illegal substances, dangerous items, unauthorised alcohol, glass, fireworks, drones or other items specified by Dubbo Action Sports or the venue.
Event-specific prohibited item requirements may be communicated before or at the event.
13. Alcohol
Where alcohol is available at an event, applicable liquor licensing requirements must be observed.
Alcohol must not be supplied to or consumed by persons under 18 years of age.
Dubbo Action Sports and authorised event or venue personnel reserve the right to refuse service of alcohol and to refuse entry to or remove intoxicated or disorderly persons in accordance with applicable law.
14. Event Program and Activities
Advertised programs, schedules, participants, competitors, activities, attractions and event times may be subject to change.
Dubbo Action Sports will make reasonable efforts to deliver an event substantially as advertised but does not guarantee the appearance of any particular participant, competitor, team, attraction or activity unless expressly stated otherwise.
A change to part of an event does not automatically entitle a ticket holder to a refund. Any entitlement to a refund or other remedy will be determined in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and other applicable laws.
15. Ticket Resale and Transfer
Tickets must not be resold for commercial purposes or used in connection with promotions, competitions, advertising or other commercial activities without prior written approval from Dubbo Action Sports.
Where ticket transfers are permitted, the person receiving the transferred ticket is bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Any resale or transfer must also comply with applicable Australian and State or Territory ticket resale laws.
16. Force Majeure and Circumstances Beyond Reasonable Control
Events may be affected by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Dubbo Action Sports, including severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, public health emergencies, government restrictions, venue unavailability, utility or infrastructure failures, security incidents or other extraordinary circumstances.
Where such circumstances occur, Dubbo Action Sports may take reasonable steps necessary to protect attendees, participants, staff and the event.
Any cancellation, postponement or change, and any resulting refund or other remedy, will be managed subject to applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
17. Directions and Emergency Procedures
In an emergency or safety-related situation, attendees must follow all instructions from Dubbo Action Sports, venue personnel, security, emergency services and other authorised officials.
Dubbo Action Sports may evacuate, suspend or modify an event where reasonably necessary for safety.
18. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with ticket purchases and event attendance will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws and relevant privacy policies.
Ticketing transactions conducted through 123 Tix may also be subject to the privacy and platform terms applicable to the 123 Tix service.
19. 123 Tix as Ticketing Platform
Where tickets are purchased through 123 Tix, 123 Tix provides ticketing services and technology associated with the transaction.
Dubbo Action Sports is the organiser and promoter of the event and is responsible for the conduct and delivery of the event.
Additional terms applicable to the use of the 123 Tix platform may apply separately to these Organiser Terms & Conditions.
20. Acceptance of Terms
By completing a ticket purchase, the purchaser acknowledges that they have had an opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
The purchaser is responsible for making any other person for whom they purchase or provide a ticket aware of these Terms & Conditions.
Attendance at a Dubbo Action Sports event is also subject to compliance with reasonable event, venue and safety requirements.
21. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the State or Territory in which the relevant event is held and the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, remedy or protection available under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
